Rythu Bazaar Seller ("the App") is developed for the Department of Agriculture, Government of Andhra Pradesh, for use exclusively by registered sellers operating at Rythu Bazaars across Andhra Pradesh. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Who can use this App

This App is not available for public registration. Accounts are created and issued only by an authorized Rythu Bazaar Admin or Executive Officer to registered sellers. There is no self-sign-up, and the App does not collect any information from members of the public or customers.

Information We Collect

• Account information: seller name, registered mobile phone number, and assigned bazaar/stall details, used to create and authenticate your login.
• Order and billing data: products, quantities, prices, and bills you generate at your stall through the App.
• Payment details: UPI ID and related payment information you choose to add, used to generate QR codes for accepting payments at your stall.
• Bluetooth and location permissions: used only to discover and connect to a compatible Bluetooth weighing scale for reading product weights during billing. Location permission is requested solely because it is required by Android to perform Bluetooth device scanning on some OS versions; the App does not track, store, or share your device's geographic location.
• Device/app version information: basic technical information (such as installed app version) used to help us support and maintain the App for registered sellers.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your account and provide access to your assigned bazaar's billing tools.
• To generate and store billing records for your stall.
• To display the official daily prices set for your bazaar.
• To enable UPI payment collection at your stall.
• To provide support through your Bazaar Admin or Executive Officer.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Information collected through the App is used only for the operation of the Rythu Bazaar seller billing system and is accessible to authorized Rythu Bazaar administration staff for the purpose of managing bazaar operations.

Data Security

Data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit. Access to seller and billing data is restricted to authorized government personnel involved in administering the Rythu Bazaar program.

Data Retention

Account and billing information is retained for as long as your seller account remains active, and as required for administrative and record-keeping purposes by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

If you would like to review, correct, or request deletion of your account information, please contact your assigned Rythu Bazaar administration office, or reach us using the contact details below.

Children's Privacy

This App is intended solely for use by registered adult sellers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
